Garrard County High School students visited KET with their multimedia class teacher, Tina Brogli, and their STLP coordinator, Virginia Thomas. Together they explored the chromakey “greenscreen” effect for video productions using small-format camcorders and video editing software. Afterwards, they toured KET’s multimedia production center.
If you’d like to bring your K-20 students to KET for free tours and workshops in multimedia production, visit our KET Media Lab page to see what’s available and then contact Jeff Gray, KET Education Division, at firstname.lastname@example.org; 800-432-0951 ext. 7263; 859-258-7263.
Here are two before-and-after newsroom video tests they made using greenscreen.
