In celebration of his 85th birthday, the legendary Tony Bennett released the critically acclaimed Duets II, which followed his Grammy-winning Duets CD, released in honor of his 80th birthday.

Bennett made music history with Duets II when it debuted at the top of the Billboard Album charts, making Bennett the oldest artist to ever achieve the #1 spot. Featuring his greatest hits, performed by today’s biggest stars, Duets II was recorded live in studios from Los Angeles to London, New York to Italy, with Nashville in between.

The program includes Lady Gaga, the final Amy Winehouse performance, and more: John Mayer, Michael Buble, k.d. lang, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Queen Latifah, Norah Jones, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Faith Hill, Alejandro Sanz, and Carrie Underwood.

The stunning musical segments are highlighted by insights on the process from the performers, making for an entertaining and fascinating profile of one of the year’s most celebrated recordings.

Tonight, KET holds its annual Education Matters: College Financial Aid Call-In program!

Each winter, families of high school seniors begin the process of applying for admission to college—and figuring out how to pay for it. KET’s annual College Financial Aid Call-In brings together experts from Kentucky colleges and state agencies to provide general information about the process and to answer specific questions from viewers.

Join host Bill Goodman and our featured panelists: Megan Cummins, coordinator of the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) program; Michael Abboud, associate director of financial aid at the University of Louisville; Runan Pendergrast, director of financial aid at Bluegrass Community and Technical College; and Sandy Neel, senior associate director of the Office of Financial Aid at Bellarmine University.
